| Over the years, I have selectively cross-bred in order to improve the size, disposition, and confirmation of my Merino and Merino-Cross sheep, but uppermost was my effort to improve the wool. Each sheep is kept blanketed and protected from sun and rain. After shearing, each fleece is expertly skirted, so that areas containing soil or vegetable matter are removed from the fleece, leaving only the very best, purest, and cleanest of the wool to be offered for sale. After skirting, the wool is carefully stored in a smoke-free environment. |
