| Over the years, I have selectively cross-bred in order to improve the size, disposition, and confirmation of my Merino and Merino-Cross sheep, and uppermost was my effort to improve the wool. Each sheep wears a blanket to protect the fleece from dirt, sun and rain. After shearing, each fleece is expertly skirted, so that areas containing soil or vegetable matter are removed from the fleece, leaving only the very best, purest, and cleanest of the wool to be offered for sale. After skirting, each fleece is individually wrapped and carefully stored in a smoke-free environment. |
